On March 30 thru April 2, 2006, the Mighty Midwestern Region of our Beloved Fraternity will celebrate our Centennial Regional Conference in Dearborn, Michigan. I am hoping all of you will be in attendance and registered for this historic conference.
For those of us who may not want to drive, I've researched the possibility of chartering a bus. Of all of the bus services I researched, Lamers Bus Company (Coach USA) from Janesville had the best price. The cost is $100 round trip per person. This price includes charter bus and the driver's accommodations. The tentative schedule is as follows:
March 30
5:00 p.m. - the bus picks up Brothers at the UW Madison Memorial Union
6:00 p.m. - the bus picks up Brothers at the UW Whitewater Union
7:15 p.m. - the bus picks up Brothers from the Alpha Business Center in Milwaukee
April 2
10:00 a.m. - the bus leaves Dearborn
4:00 p.m. - the bus arrives in Milwaukee
5:15 p.m. - the bus arrives in Whitewater
7:00 p.m. - the bus arrives in Madison
We will have access to the bus Friday and Saturday evening (the driver needs 10 hours off each day) and we allowed to bring beverages on the bus. The 55-passenger motorcoach is equipped with individual reclining seats with arm rests, overhead compartments, climate control, a restroom, VCR, AM/FM stereo with cassette decks and ample undercarriage storage compartments.
Interested? We need at least 35 brothers to make this work. Monies would be due February 28.
