On Saturday, April 9, the District of Wisconsin welcomed four Brothers in the arms of Alpha. They are: Jermaine Buckner (Epsilon Tau), Khalid Mageed (Zeta Iota), Michael Cole (Zeta Iota), Derek Johnson (Zeta Iota), and Kevin Newell (Zeta Iota). Congratulations to them all.

(Brothers Only) Regional Convention Volunteer Meeting

In less than one week, we will be host to the largest attended conference of the Midwest Region here in Milwaukee. Our local regional planning team have been feverishly to ensure its success. Many of you have expressed interest in assisting with registration, security, hospitality suite, etc.

HERE IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP. ALL HANDS ON DECK!

We have an informational meeting on Monday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at the Alpha Business Center, 6915 W Capitol Dr. If you want volunteer, please attend the meeting. Your placement is essential in the success of our conference.

If you haven't passed out all of your pluggers for the conference, please let me know. We have Brothers who need more.

Habitat For Humanity

We are partnering with Habitat for Humanity and need your help at the Community Service project. Your assistance is needed on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. The address is 1938 & 1957 N 28th St.

1) They will be providing training and breakfast for all workers the morning of the 21st
2) They will provide all of the equipment except for boots. You will need to supply your own boots. Steve will still be purchasing Hard hats w Midwest A PHI A signage

3) They wish to work with our PR people to get out the press
4) The want to feed everyone lunch that works
5) They have a statewide newsletter and will be making the event the feature article of the month.

We will be stuffing convention bags on Wednesday, April 20 at the Downtown Hilton, not on Monday, April 18 as previously announced. More details to follow.
