Greetings to the Brothers in the District of Wisconsin

Please welcome Brother Gerald Hobson to our listserv.

  • THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN SIGNED. The contract for the regional convention has been signed and received by the Hilton Hotel. The dates are still April 21-24, 2005. The price of pre-registration has increased to $115 and standard registration fees has increased to $150. The official convention call will be posted on the district website soon. For those of you who may have forgotten the address, it is www.alpha-wisconsin.org.
  • Congratulations to Bro. James "Cap" Davis. He was named Most Worshipful Master of the Masons for the state of Wisconsin.
  • Did you see Bro. John Daniels in the July 12 issue of Jet magazine? He, along with our General President, Bro. Harry Johnson, were recognized at the 100 Black Men, Inc. National Convention in June.
  • On a sad note, one of our DXL brothers is relocating. Bro. John Montgomery and family will be relocating to Charlotte in two weeks. We will miss Bro. Montgomery and his contributions to the chapter and the state. We wish him and his family the very best in their new beginning.
  • DXL is now looking for a recording secretary. If you are interested in the position, please call or email me.

That is all for now.

'06,
Bro. Gerald Hyler
